GDR Tour 2003
This is the entrance to grounds of Schloß Niederschönhausen. It was built in 1664 and was used as the home of the GDR President. After 1964 it was used to accommodate important foreign dignitories. Until 1990 it was completely inaccessible to the general public. Some of the round table discussions that led to German Reunification also took place here.
