The Soviet War Memorial (Sowjetisches Ehrenmal) in Treptower Park is a classically understated piece of Stalin-era architecture.
Built to commemorate the deaths of Soviet soldiers during the Battle for Berlin bits of it are currently covered in scaffolding. Expect to see a McDonalds here soon.
